Enugu state police command says the orderly room trial of police inspector Ozonwanji Joseph involved in the murder of of ogene musician, Chikezie Okezie Nwamba AKA IGBO JAH has been concluded.

A statement released by the commanders spokesperson DSP Daniel says the inspector was found guilty and the received the maximum penalty of dismisser followed by Court prosecution and line with the police act and regulations 2020.

Accordingly the assistant inspector general of police zone 13 (covering Anambra and Enugu state) approved the orderly trial recommendations to dismiss and principles the inspector in court. Hence he has been dismissed from the Nigerian police force today October 28 2024 arraigned at the enugu state magistrate court for the offense of mother the chief magistrates other determined of the former officer in the enugu correctional custodial center and the transmission of the case why to the attorney general of Enugu state for further judicial action the trial was adjourned to November 12th 2024.

Ndukwe said the state commissioner of police CP Kanayo Uzuegbu extent his condolence to the family friends and associates of the deceased expressing gratitude to the government people of enugu state and the public for their support throughout the case 

CP kanayo emphasized that the Nigerian police force remains a discipline government agency assuring that under this leadership the command will continue to hold all erring officers accountable for their action.
